A couple of weekends ago, I was invited by Sandra Buzzing to perform at her mother’s 70th Birthday Party in Puckeridge, near Ware in Herts. Close Up Magic at Peter and Dot’s joint 70th Birthday celebrations

Last Saturday was, for a change, a very local performance for me, travelling just a few miles down the road to Theydon Bois to entertain Peter and Dot, and their guests from all sections of their lives, and what busy people they are too. It was also nice to see many faces I recognised there, so it was even better to perform for ‘friendly’ faces, from my local area. About 90 – 100 guests were present, enjoy a buffet meal and to celebrate 140 years of the birthday couple. Close Up

Magic with the Showgirls in Vegas, or was it Basingstoke?

Last year I was booked to perform close up magic at the Master Locksmiths Association annual dinner and awards evening, and was delighted to be invited back again this year. Following the magic during both the drinks reception and dinner, the cabaret started with hilarious stand up comic Zack Stephens and finished with the dulcet tones of singer Andy Wilsher along with the Vegas Showgirls, Alison Whitworth and Jenni Bean Graham, who add some wonderful glamour to the evening. London Marathon Post Race Awards Ceremony 2016

I have been a fan of the London Marathon since it’s inaugural race in 1981, and even managed to complete the course as a competitor in 1988 in a time of 4 hours 26 minutes, when I was so much younger and fitter than I am now. Magic Circle Blue Plaque unveiled

On Wednesday, I was delighted to be invited to the unveiling of a Blue Plaque celebrating the first ever meeting of what was to become The Magic Circle.
