A couple of weekends ago, I was invited by Sandra Buzzing to perform at her mother’s 70th Birthday Party in Puckeridge, near Ware in Herts. I had performed at the wedding of the daughter of a friend of hers, and she kindly recommended me for this event.

Guests were a mixture of friends and relatives of varying ages from Doris and her husband both in their 70′s thru to their grandchildren, so it was a nice varied group that I was asked to entertain.

I performed a mixture of ‘Mix and Mingle’ magic  to the groups who prefered to stand and Close Up magic at the tables for guests who prefered to sit down and chat amongst each other, everyone appeared to have a lovely time and were very appreciative of my magic.

Having rushed around making sure that everyone was having a lovely time, Sandra was able to sit down and relax towards the end of the evening, so it was time to entertain her, as she had been to busy earlier in the afternoon.

I realised everyone was enjoying my performance when I look up and found that I was surrounded by a group of 20 -25 of the guests who wanted to see more, and we all lost track of the time as we really had a lovely time – always nice to perform to an appreciative audience
