Catching up with Fergus, Michael and Richard at The Magic Circle

I try and go  up to The Magic Circle every Monday and  meet up with friends and fellow magicians, some of whom, like me pop in every week and others we see from time to time. Last Monday was spent catching up with those I hadn’t seen there for a while. Firsty I had a wonderful conversation with Fergus Anckorn, who at a spritely 97 years if age is still attends most weeks, about a book I am reading about the moment, written by Peter Fyans, about Fergus’s life, both as

He has done more for magic than any other magician in my lifetime, and his TV show ran from 1979 to 1994 Today the following sad statement

Earlier in the week we were given the news of the passing of American magician, impersonator and comedian Tom Mullica, who I first had the pleasure of seeing perform and meeting in 1994. He was perhaps best known for performing his unique Cigarette act, which he gave up several years ago, but was a many of many talents Following a routine
