Nick Sillitoe had arranged a garden party for about 60 family and friends under a marque in his garden, to celebrate his wife, Jane’s, 50th birthday. it was a beautiful afternoon and guests were treated to a mouth watering meal. I was booked as a surprise to perform Close Up Magic at the Table for the guests who ranged from teenagers to Jane’s 98 year old grandmother who was as bright a s a spark.

It was a quintessentially afternoon, with a very appreciative audience. Nick was kind enough to email me, before leaving at 4am to go on holiday

Thank you so much for a brilliant show yesterday. Everyone raved about the magic and especially the bottle trick! We are clearing up and frantically packing cases as we go to the airport at 4 tomorrow morning! We look forward to seeing you perform at the event in May.
