Mulberry House in Ongar, Essex dates back to the 1760′s and in its time has been a family home and was also a rectory for 61 years. One owner reputedly kept a horse in the kitchen. Set in 22 acres of landscaped grounds, it is now a popular wedding venue.

Sarah had invited family and friends, not only to celebrate her 40th Birthday but also by way of a thank you for their support during a recent spell of ill health, from which I am glad to say, she has fully recovered. Guests were asked to dress to impress with pink as the theme, and they certainly did that. Sarah and her 2 daughters were wearing vivid pink prom dresses, she said I wouldn’t miss them and she was right.

Initially I entertained the young and old during the drinks reception and continued during the buffet style dinner performing Close Up Magic at the table. I also personalised my magic for many of the guests, some of whom had traveled from far afield including Holland and Norway.
