A trip down to Kent last weekend, on yet another sunny day to entertain at Jane’s 60th Birthday party, and as the roads were really clear I arrived even earlier that expected, so I sat outside and listened to the Women’s Tennis Final of the French Open.

Jane had invited just over 35 guests to celebrate with her, a few days before her actual birthday which was on the 9th. One of best things about entertaining at peoples houses is the hospitality that is shown, and Jane’s first words to me after out initial introduction were ” Would you like a cup of tea?”, music to my ears!

I spent the next 2 hours entertaining her guests with close up magic, some were already there, others arrived throughout the afternoon, an all round fantastic afternoon, of fun, laughter and amazement.

Jane was kind enough to email me, a couple of days later:

You included everyone at the event and noticed as new guests arrived and ensured they all experienced the entertainment.  Thank you also for arriving in good time before event, enabling me to relax knowing it would all go ahead to timings as planned.  The way in which you personalised your tricks for specific guests, really added that special touch.
