I was once told by a wise elder of magic, never judge Paul Daniels until you see him handle an audience – a few months later I understood exactly what he had meant. Since that day I have seen Paul perform with wife Debbie, on numerous occasions and enjoyed the pleasure of their company over lunch, as well as at The Magic Circle. On the last weekend of January I drove over to Stevenage to entertain Sugy and her guests who were celebrating her 40th Birthday. She had asked me to perform for about 40 guests, rather than have a DJ, which allowed her guests to mingle and chat. What an appreciative crowd they were, and it was so enjoyable to perform for them all, personalising some of my magic fro specific guests that Suzy had picked out.
