This morning saw me back at The Magic Circle, performing Close Up Magic at another of The Magic Circle’s public shows, this time a daytime ‘History and Mystery Show’  which includes a tour of the venue, and the amazing Museum, which today was undertaken by Magic Circle President Scott Penrose, Close Up magic and a cabaret show with Henry Lewis in our 160 seat theatre on the third floor, ably assisted by members Kim Robinson and Michael Simes Just waiting for our audience:   It really is great to welcome

Sad news continues – Paul Daniels

I was once told by a wise elder of magic, never judge Paul Daniels until you see him handle an audience – a few months later I understood exactly what he had meant. Since that day I have seen Paul perform with wife Debbie, on numerous occasions and enjoyed the pleasure of their company over lunch, as well as at The Magic Circle. He has done more for magic than any other magician in my lifetime, and his TV show ran from 1979 to 1994 Today the following sad statement

Magic at Suzy Hawkins 40th Birthday Party

On the last weekend of January I drove over to Stevenage to entertain Sugy and her guests who were celebrating her 40th Birthday. She had asked me to perform for about 40 guests, rather than have a DJ, which allowed her guests to mingle and chat.
