Back in July, Hazel Green arranged for me to perform at her daughter Hayley and Ryan Derrick’s Wedding reception, this was to be surprise for the happy couple. The one thing that is currently filling the social media pages like Facebook and Twitter are video clips of various people completing their Ice Bucket Challenge in aid of Macmillan Cancer support. Well it was always going to happen that I would be nominated and the other day my eldest daughter completed her challenge, and having asked me to pour the water over her, promptly nominated me. Following their wedding ceremony at Rangers House, near Blackheath, Menh and Diana traveled a short distance to perhaps the only Chinese restaurant in London capable of hosting their 500 guests for a sumptuous wedding banquet. The sun was shining as I arrived at the Manor of Groves for the wedding of childhood sweethearts Sophie Stock and Lawrence Key.
