The temperatures didn’t quite reach the highs of two days ago, where the thermometer on the centre court at Wimbledon recorded a high of 41.7 degrees – yes they were playing Tennis in that heat….. at the Reid Rooms today it was only in the middle 30′s, but somehow my bride and groom for today managed to look elegant, cool and totally unflustered by the heat. It was great to be back at the Reid Rooms, one of my favourite venues for the wedding reception of Chonnor Dowd and Faye Gibbens. A trip down to Kent last weekend, on yet another sunny day to entertain at Jane’s 60th Birthday party, and as the roads were really clear I arrived even earlier that expected, so I sat outside and listened to the Women’s Tennis Final of the French Open. Its not all weddings and corporate events that i perform at and 24th May saw me travelling up the A12 to entertain guests at Dave’s 50th Birthday party, under a marquee in the back garden, complete with  bar and star studded dance floor. It was aslo Dave and Laruen’s son Luke’s communion.
