Educational Day at The Magic Circle

Hailed as the hottest day of the decade, July 1st saw me travelling on the tube trying to stay cool enroute to The Magic Circle in London, for the second Educational Day we have run for young children, and just before 10.30am about 70 children descended on the, thankfully, air conditioned Headquarters of the World’s leading Magical Society. Magic at an evening of Curry and Cabaret

May has been quite a busy month so far, and on Saturday 16th May I was asked to perform in a cabaret show, along with some amazing other acts, including several Jugglers showing of their skills with various apparatus including clubs, some of which illuminated, diablos, and hoops, as well as drummers and other speciality acts. This was held at ‘Myplace’, in Harold Hill, a wonderful venue in Essex, and the evening was compered by a straight jacketed Chris Sullivan. A fantastic evening all round.

Nigel and Andrea’s Wedding, Marygreen Manor, Brentwood

In the late 1970′s, when I finished my initial police training I was posted to London’s East End, area noted in the history books as being associated with Jack the Ripper, Petticoat Lane Market, the Kray Twins and the Tower of London.
