Amy and Paul’s wedding at Blake Hall

It’s not just the Bride, Groom and their guest who open their curtains first thing in the morning and look up at the sky to see what the weather’s like. Today, was one of those  changeable sky’s but I left Epping in bright sunshine and drove the short journey to today’s wedding venue, Blake Hall in Ongar. By the time I got there the clouds were gathering again, but with 15 minutes before the ceremony the decision to prepare for an outside service. In the end it was the right choice and the sun shone on the righteous.

The guests gathered on cushion covered benches and Groom Paul and his best man waited patiently for the arrival of his Bride and her Bridesmaids. On the dot of 2pm they appeared, Amy stunning, and her Bridesmaids looking gorgeous in pink.

Straight after the service, I performed strolling magic for their guests outside in the grounds, personalising magic from not only the Happy Couple and their Bridesmaids, but also for guests, some of whom had traveled from as far afield as Connecticut, USA and Toronto in Canada, and also for Amy’s lovely Nan who was celebrated her 80th birthday on the wedding day of her granddaughter.

I met some lovely people, got some wonderful reactions to my magic and captured Amy’s first signature as a married lady. All in all, a wonderful afternoon of celebrations magic and fun.

My Congratulations and very best wishes to the new Mr and Mrs Horsfall
