What a lovely sunny day to hold an outside wedding, which is exactly what Donna and Joe had planned for today, and the weather was very kind for them. At the Reid Rooms the place where they hold an outside ceremony, is reached by a Tractor ride with guests sitting in the trailer, and is a short distance away.
I was asked to entertain the guests on their return to the courtyard, for the drinks reception and these were joined slightly later by the wedding group: the Happy Couple, Bridesmaids, Bestman, Parents (Donna’s father had flown over from Canada for the wedding)
Everyone seemed to be enjoying the magic I provided in the sun, mixing with various groups of guests from the young to the not so young, and a good time was had by all, including myself.
It’s always nice to be part of such a special day, not only fro the bride and groom but also for all their friends and relatives
As I wish the newly married Mr and Mrs Elliott all the very best for a happy and healthy future life together, here are a few of the ‘snap’ I took whilst waiting for everyone to return, to give you some feel of the day, take a look at the bottom photo which is something that I’ve never seen at a wedding before, a roller banner at each end of the top table with various photos of the happy couple – what a unique idea
